Clinic App is a real, native app, publicly available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play. What makes it feel like your app is that once a patient joins using your clinic's QR code or join link, the whole in-app experience switches to your branding: your logo, your colours, your treatments and your rewards.
Your clinic QR code and join link
Every clinic gets a unique join link and a matching QR poster. We set you up with both at onboarding, and you can print the poster any time from your dashboard under Desk kit. The link is a short /join/ link with your clinic's unique code. Scanning the QR (or opening the link) takes the patient to your clinic's welcome page in their phone's browser, which prompts them to download the Clinic App app.
Share your join link and QR code everywhere:
- Add it to your booking confirmation emails and SMS reminders (most booking systems let you customise the confirmation message).
- Put it in your Instagram bio and link-in-bio tool.
- Print the QR poster for your front desk or treatment rooms.
- Include it in your email newsletter.
What patients see when they open the link
The first-time experience has two steps. Scanning your QR code or opening your join link shows a welcome page with your clinic's branding and a prompt to download Clinic App from the App Store or Google Play. Once the patient has downloaded and opened the app, they join your clinic by scanning the QR code again from inside the app (or the app picks up the join link automatically). From that point on, everything they see in the app, treatments, rewards, colours and logo, is branded to your clinic.
How the sign-up works
Patients sign up with their email address. There is no password to remember. Instead, they enter their email and are sent a one-time code, which they type into the app to sign in. On later visits, they repeat the same step: enter their email, receive a fresh code, and enter it.
If a patient has trouble receiving the code email, ask them to check their spam folder first. The email comes from noreply@clinicapp.com.au. If it is still not arriving, message us in the WhatsApp group and we will check delivery logs.
The best times to remind patients
The highest conversion moment is in clinic, right after a treatment. The patient is happy, the relationship is warm, and you can walk them through joining while they are still with you. Have your front desk show the QR code at checkout and say something like: "We have a members app with rewards on skincare and treatments. Here is the link."
The second best moment is the booking confirmation. Add your join link to the confirmation message in your booking system so it reaches every patient automatically, without you lifting a finger.
After that, a one-off email to your existing patient list works well for the initial launch. Keep it short: what the app is, what they get, and a single button to join.
If a patient says they can't find the app
This usually means they searched the App Store or Google Play for your clinic's name rather than searching for Clinic App. Remind them to search "Clinic App", download it, and then join your clinic by scanning your QR code or opening your join link from inside the app.
If they used the link and the welcome page is not loading, ask them to try opening it in Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android), as some in-app browsers can cause issues. If the problem continues, message us in the WhatsApp group with the patient's email address and we will investigate.
Patients download the same Clinic App app as every other clinic. Your join link and QR code are what connect a patient to your clinic specifically, unlocking your branding, treatments and rewards inside the app.
