Connecting Cliniko lets patients tap "Book" on a treatment in your app and land on your Cliniko booking page. Here's how the connection actually works.
The Cliniko connection is a booking hand-off only. When a patient taps to book, they go to your Cliniko page and book there as normal. Clinic App never touches your Cliniko patient records, and nothing is ever written into Cliniko. Your booking system stays exactly as it is.
How it works
With Cliniko connected, tapping "Book" on a treatment in the app takes patients to your Cliniko booking page. Appointments are managed in Cliniko exactly as they are today; at the clinic, reception checks patients in with a scan or a quick name search on Front Desk.
How it's set up
Connecting Cliniko is not self-serve — there is no dashboard screen for it. The Clinic App team sets it up for you directly, as part of your build. There's nothing to paste in or configure yourself, and nothing to keep in sync afterwards.
If something looks wrong
If a booking link looks broken or sends patients to the wrong page, message the Clinic App WhatsApp group and we'll sort it out — this is one of the things we look after for you, not something to troubleshoot yourself.
