Connecting your Stripe safely

To take membership payments through your app, you connect your own Stripe account. This is quick, and your money flows straight to you.

Is this safe? Yes

We never see your logins and never have access to your bank account. We use Stripe Connect, the same technology Shopify, Uber and Airbnb use to pay their merchants. It links your own Stripe to your app so your patients can pay seamlessly (including Apple Pay), and the money lands in your account.

How to connect

1. On your onboarding call we open the connection step together.
2. You complete Stripe's standard business verification (this is called KYB, "know your business"). It is Stripe asking you to confirm your business details, not us.
3. Once verified, your app can take membership and retail payments, paid out to your Stripe.

If you do not already have a Stripe account, you can create one during this step.

You are not limited to your onboarding call for this — Stripe can also be connected, or reconnected, any time from Settings → Payments in your dashboard.

What flows through Stripe

• Membership fees from your members.
• Retail and non-prescription purchases made in the app.

Treatment payments stay in your existing booking system exactly as they are today. Your app does not change how you take payment for treatments at the clinic.
